Tanzanian Goat Meat consumption is expected to decrease slightly in the coming years. In 2021, it fell 0.6% year-on-year to just under 60 thousand metric tons, coming in 36th in the global ranking. This was only slightly ahead of Greece, which came in at 62 thousand metric tons. India, Pakistan and Iran respectively placed second, third and fourth. Tanzanian Goat Meat production is anticipated to remain relatively stable. In 2021, it increased 0.2% year-on-year to just over 66 thousand metric tons, coming in at 39th in the global ranking. This was just behind the United Arab Emirates, which placed first at 65 thousand metric tons. Australia, India and Pakistan respectively placed second, third and fourth.
