Paraguayan demand for goat meat is expected to decrease by 2.1% to 2.6 million metric tons over the next five years. This year, Paraguay came in at 110th place, with 3 million metric tons, while Sierra Leone overtook it with the same amount. India, Pakistan and Iran were the top three countries in terms of goat meat consumption in 2021. Paraguayan production of goat meat is also projected to drop 2.1% to 2.6 million metric tons by 2026. Since 2017, Paraguayan supply has remained the same. This year, the country was 103rd, while Sierra Leone was ahead at 3 million metric tons. The top three goat meat producers in 2021 were Australia, India and Pakistan.
