North Korean consumption of goat meat is set to remain stable over the next five years. In 2021, the country was number 72 in terms of consumption, with the Netherlands overtaking it at 16 thousand metric tons. India, Pakistan and Iran came in second, third, and fourth respectively. Production of goat meat in North Korea has been relatively stable since 2017. In 2018, the country was ranked 69th, with Portugal overtaking it at 16 thousand metric tons. Australia, India and Pakistan respectively came in second, third, and fourth.
