Mongol goat meat consumption is set to reach 164,000 tons by 2026. This figure is up 0.5% on average year-on-year since 2017, and in 2021 the country ranked 16th in the world. Kazakhstan overtook them at 160,000 tons, with India, Pakistan and Iran respectively coming in second, third and fourth. Meanwhile, Mongol goat meat production is set to reach 275,000 tons by 2026, an increase of 1.8% year-on-year since 2017. In 2021, the country was 10th in the world, with Chad overtaking them at 246,000 tons. Australia, India and Pakistan respectively came in second, third and fourth.
