Goat meat consumption rose to 2,000 metric tons in 2018, up from the previous year's 2,000 metric tons. The country ranked 117th, with Slovenia ahead at 2,000 metric tons. India, Pakistan and Iran followed, coming in at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Goat meat production also increased to 2,000 metric tons in 2018, compared to 2,000 metric tons in 2017. The country ranked 107th, with Slovenia again taking the lead at 2,000 metric tons. Australia, India and Pakistan followed at numbers 2, 3 and 4.
