Cabo Verde saw a modest increase in consumption of goat meat in 2018, from 1,000 metric tons the year before. Ranking at 126th, it was behind Malta's 1,000 metric tons. India, Pakistan, and Iran held the top three spots in the ranking. Cabo Verde's production of goat meat was also 1,000 metric tons in 2018, the same amount as in 2017. Ranking at 121st, it was behind Belarus' 1,000 metric tons. Australia, India, and Pakistan held the top three spots in the ranking.
