India, Pakistan and Iran were the second, third and fourth highest consumers, respectively. Gambian goat meat production also rose between 2017 and 2018, reaching 1 thousand metric tons. In 2018, Gambia was the 121st highest producer in the world, while Cape Verde ranked ahead at 1 thousand metric tons. Australia, India and Pakistan were the second, third and fourth highest producers, respectively.
