Vietnamese goat meat consumption is predicted to hit 17,000 metric tons by 2026. This year, the country was in 72nd place with 16,000 metric tons, behind North Korea. India, Pakistan and Iran took the next three spots in the ranking. Meanwhile, Vietnamese goat meat production is forecast to drop slightly over the next five years, from 9,000 metric tons in 2021 to 8,700 metric tons by 2026. This year, the country was in 87th place, with Togo ahead of it. Australia, India and Pakistan were the next three countries in the ranking.
