Meanwhile, goat meat production is forecast to fall 2.4% year-on-year on average, from 58.75 thousand metric tons in 2021 to 57.5 thousand metric tons in 2026. Kyrgyzstan is expected to produce the most goat meat, with 68 thousand metric tons in 2021. India, Pakistan and Australia are expected to rank amongst the top producers.
