In 2018, Lithuania consumed 1,000 metric tons of goat meat, up from 1,000 metric tons the previous year. This placed Lithuania at 126th in the ranking of goat meat consumption, with Slovakia overtaking Lithuania with 1,000 metric tons. India, Pakistan and Iran took the top three spots. Lithuania also produced nearly 1,000 metric tons of goat meat in 2018, up from 1,000 metric tons in 2017. This placed Lithuania at 121st in the ranking of goat meat production, with Slovakia still ahead with 1,000 metric tons. Australia, India and Pakistan took the top three spots.
