By 2026, consumption of goat meat in Ukraine is predicted to reach 12,000 metric tons, down 1.6% from 2021. Since 2017, demand has dropped 2.4% annually. At 13,000 metric tons, Papua New Guinea had the highest consumption in 2021, and was followed by India, Pakistan, and Iran. Meanwhile, Ukrainian goat meat production is expected to reach 14,040 metric tons in 2026, a 0.1% increase from 2021. There has been no change in supply since 2017. Chile led production in 2021 at 14,000 metric tons, followed by Australia, India, and Pakistan.
