Goat meat production in Nepal is forecast to reach 80,570 metric tons by 2026, up from 76,000 metric tons in 2021. This is an average increase of 1% year-on-year since 2017. In 2021, Nepal was the 32nd largest producer of goat meat, overtaken in the ranking by the United States. Australia, India and Pakistan held the second, third and fourth positions in the ranking, respectively.
