Armenia's production of goat meat is set to reach 12,000 metric tons by 2026, growing at an average rate of 0.9% year on year since 2017. In 2021, the country ranked 80th, with Bulgaria ahead of them at 11,000 metric tons. Australia, India and Pakistan came in second, third, and fourth in the ranking, respectively. Consumption of goat meat in Armenia was 9,000 metric tons in 2018, up from 9,000 metric tons in 2017. The country came in 93rd in the rankings, with Namibia ahead of them at 9,000 metric tons. India, Pakistan and Iran were the second, third and fourth ranked countries, respectively.
