In 2023, Slovenia ranked 23rd in spirits sales, with Iceland surpassing it with sales also standing at €6.3 million. The top three countries in this ranking were France, Poland, and Italy, respectively. On the production front, Slovenia's spirits industry is expected to grow to €4.9 million by 2028, up from €4.2 million in 2023, marking an average annual growth rate of 2.7%. Since 2014, the supply of spirits in Slovenia has increased by 11.8% year on year. In terms of production rankings for 2023, Slovenia also held the 23rd position, once again overtaken by Iceland with production valued at €4.2 million. France, Italy, and Poland occupied the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.
