Kazakhstani rum import is set to hit $1.5 million by 2026, according to a new report. The country's demand for the spirit increased by 7.2% each year from 2006. In 2021, Kazakhstan was in 68th place in the global ranking, behind Slovenia which had $1.3 million in imports. Italy, the United States and Spain occupied the top three spots. In 2018, Kazakhstan was 110th, having been outranked by Senegal, which imported $503,000. The US, Italy and France were the top three importers globally.
