Samoa is set to see a steady increase in rum imports over the next five years, according to data from 2021. The country is estimated to reach $90,000 in imports by 2026, growing at a rate of 1.3% year on year. This would mark a 16.2% increase since 2006. In 2021, Samoa ranked number 114 in terms of rum imports, with Swaziland taking the lead with $82,840. Italy, the United States and Spain respectively ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4. When it comes to rum exports, however, the figures are slightly different. Samoa is expected to see a decrease in exports of 9.1%, with an estimated $903.25 in total exports by 2026. Since 2006, exports have risen by 39.1%. In 2021, the country ranked number 108 in terms of exports, with Bahrain taking the lead with $1,560. The United States, Italy and France respectively came in numbers 2, 3 and 4.
