The United States, Italy and Spain followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Meanwhile, Maltese rum export is set to drop by 17.8% year on year, to reach $7,040 by 2026. Since 1999, exports have grown by 33.5% annually. In 2021, Malta was the 95th largest exporter of rum, with Russia surpassing them with $20,690. The United States, Italy and France followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
