In 2021, Portugal came in at 41st place, overtaken by Andorra, who achieved $5.4 million. The top three countries were Italy, the United States and Spain respectively. Meanwhile, Portuguese rum exports are estimated to rise 0.4% year on year, reaching $1.1 million by 2026. This follows an average 8.7% growth year on year since 1993. In 2021, Portugal was placed 50th, overtaken by Ghana, who achieved $1.03 million. The United States, Italy and France respectively ranked highest.
