Brazil's platinum imports are expected to reach almost $461 million by 2026, up from $394 million in 2021. On average, imports have increased by 2.9% year on year since 1994. In 2021, Brazil ranked 11th in the world for platinum imports. Canada topped the list with $394 million, followed by Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom. Meanwhile, exports of platinum from Brazil are set to fall 17.7% on average year on year from 2021 to 2026, reaching around $680 million. Since 1994, exports have decreased by 21%. Brazil ranked 38th in 2021, with Sweden overtaking with $2 million. The United Kingdom, Russia and the United States were the next three largest exporters.
