Ivory Coast imports of platinum dropped by 21.3% in 2021, compared to the previous year. The country had imported $1,140 worth of the precious metal, down from $1,450 in 2020. Since 2001, however, Ivory Coast's demand for platinum has risen by 39.1%. In the 2021 ranking of countries importing platinum, Ivory Coast was in 103rd place, while Bangladesh came first with $1,140. Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom were in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively.
