Latvia's platinum imports fell 18.9% in 2021 to $230,380, compared to $284,010 the previous year. This marks a 26% decrease since 2000. The Philippines overtook Latvia in the ranking, with Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom taking 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. Platinum exports from Latvia dropped 66.5% in 2018 to $293,980, compared to $877,240 the year before. This marks a 114.3% increase since 1999. Egypt took the lead in the rankings, with the United Kingdom, Russia, and the United States taking 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively.
