Angolan imports of cobalt rose dramatically in 2018, jumping 128.6% from the 14 kilograms imported in 2017. Demand for the metal increased by 18% compared to the previous year, putting Angola in 74th place in the global ranking. Albania topped the list with 32 kilograms, followed by Belgium, the United States and Japan.
