Meanwhile, Australian imports of cobalt are projected to increase by an average of 3.6% year on year over the next five years, from 244,710 kilograms in 2021 to 302,730 kilograms in 2026. Since 1993, imports have risen by 15%. Sweden was the leading exporter in 2021, followed by Belgium, the US and Japan.
