In 2021, the country ranked 14th, with Germany in the lead at 1.2 million kilograms. The United States, Russia and China came in at second, third and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, Dutch cobalt imports are forecast to rise by 2.7% CAGR year on year, reaching 2.5 million kilograms by 2026. In 2021, Norway was the top importer at 2.1 million kilograms while Belgium, the United States and Japan came in second, third and fourth, respectively. Since 1997, Dutch demand for cobalt has jumped 11.4% year on year.
