Pakistan is set to become the world's 27th largest importer of cobalt by 2026. In 2021, the country imported 126,450 kilograms of cobalt, an increase of 34.9% compared to 2008. Morocco was the top importer of cobalt in 2021, at 168,980 kilograms, while Belgium, the United States and Japan came in second, third and fourth respectively. Pakistan's cobalt imports are expected to grow at an average rate of 4.9% year on year, reaching 168,980 kilograms by 2026.
