In 2021, imports of the metal into Indonesia totaled 22,390 kilograms, down from 24,690 kilograms in 2020. The country ranked 39th in 2021, with Colombia taking the lead at 22,390 kilograms. Belgium, the United States, and Japan followed in the rankings at 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place, respectively. Since 2000, Indonesian cobalt supply has decreased 16.8% year on year. In 2018, the country ranked 32nd, with Lithuania coming in at number 9 with 9,460 kilograms. The United States, Russia, and China followed in the rankings, coming in at 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place, respectively.
