Colombia’s garlic production is set to increase by 1,000 metric tons over the next five years. Last year, the country achieved 10,030 metric tons of garlic, putting it 44th in the global rankings. Armenia was ahead at 11,030 metric tons. India, Bangladesh and South Korea took the next three spots. Since 2004, Colombia’s garlic production has decreased 6.7% year on year. However, over the next five years, supply is expected to grow by 1.7% each year.
