Chile is set to become a major player in the global garlic production market. By 2026, the country is expected to reach 24,640 metric tons of garlic, a 2% year-on-year growth since 2021. Since 1966, Chile's garlic production has increased 6.6% year-on-year. In 2021, it was ranked 33rd in global production, just behind France's 21,920 metric tons. India, Bangladesh, and South Korea took the top three spots in the ranking.
