Dominican garlic production is set to drop 6.5% year on year over the next five years. This follows a year on year decline since 1966, when production fell 7.8%. In 2021, the Dominican Republic ranked 68th globally, with 1,070 metric tons of garlic produced. Iraq was the top producer with 1,580 metric tons, followed by India, Bangladesh and South Korea.
