Russia's garlic production is expected to decrease slightly in the next five years. In 2021, it was estimated at 196,000 metric tons, down 0.5% from the previous year. This continues a downward trend that began in 1997. Russia ranks 12th in the world in terms of garlic production. Ahead of it is Myanmar, at 201,990 metric tons, followed by India, Bangladesh and South Korea in second, third and fourth place respectively.
