Moldova's garlic production is set to drop slightly in the next five years. In 2021, the country produced 7,830 metric tons of garlic, ranking 45th worldwide. This marks a decrease of 5.1% year-on-year since 2002. Colombia took the lead in 2021, producing 7,830 metric tons. India, Bangladesh and South Korea took the next three places respectively. Overall, Moldovan garlic production is predicted to fall 1.1% year-on-year on average until 2026, reaching 7,230 metric tons.
