The amount of garlic produced in the country has risen steadily since 1966, increasing by a rate of 2.1% each year. In 2021, Venezuela was ranked 40th in the world for garlic production, with 15,410 metric tons. India, Bangladesh and South Korea followed at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
