Azerbaijan's garlic production is on the rise. This year it is estimated to reach around 51,000 metric tons - a 2.8% year-on-year increase. In the past 24 years, the country's production has grown 15.3% each year. It is currently ranked 27th in the world, overtaken by Taiwan in 2021. India, Bangladesh and South Korea follow at second, third and fourth place respectively.
