Palestinian pear production is set to reach around 140 metric tons by 2026. Since 1999, it has increased by an average of 2.5% year-on-year. In 2021, the country ranked 82nd in the world for pear production, with Zimbabwe overtaking it with 136 metric tons. The United States, Argentina and Italy ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
