Latvian pear production is forecast to drop slightly over the next five years, with an average year-on-year decline of 0.4%. However, since 2002, the output of these fruits has risen 10.2% each year. Latvia was the 74th largest producer of pears in 2021, behind Slovakia with 594 metric tons. The US, Argentina and Italy were the top three producers, in that order.
