Macedonia’s pear production is set to remain nearly the same for the next five years. According to figures from 2021, the country produced 7,810 metric tons of pears. This number is only slightly higher than the 1.6% year-on-year growth since 1997. Tunisia overtook Macedonia in 2021, producing 7,810 metric tons, putting the country in 55th place globally. The United States, Argentina and Italy ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
