The country is forecast to produce 30,580 metric tons by 2026, a 0.4% average year-on-year decrease from 2021's 31,320 metric tons. This marks a 2% decrease since 1995. In 2021, Nepal was ranked 36th, overtaken by Bosnia and Herzegovina with 31,320 metric tons. The United States, Argentina and Italy took the top three spots in the ranking.
