Armenia's pear production is expected to decline by 5.7% year on year, reaching 8,290 metric tons by 2026. This is a decrease of 2.3% compared to 1997. Armenia currently ranks 50th in the world for pear production in 2021, behind Kyrgyzstan which produced 11,650 metric tons. The United States, Argentina and Italy are the top three producers, taking the second, third and fourth spots respectively.
