Albanian pear production is set to reach 18,000 metric tons by 2026, according to a recent report. The country’s production of pears has been growing by an average of 2.5% year-on-year since 1966. In 2021, it totaled 15,130 metric tons, placing Albania 45th in the global ranking. New Zealand took the top spot with 15,130 metric tons, while the United States, Argentina and Italy took second, third and fourth place respectively.
