Peruvian apple consumption is set to reach around 148,000 metric tons by 2026. This is down slightly from 2021's figure of 154,000 metric tons - a drop of 0.6% compared to 2017. In 2021, Peru ranked 36th in the world for apple consumption, with Indonesia overtaking it by consuming 154,000 metric tons. The United States, India and Russia took the top three spots in the ranking, with the US leading the way.
