This year, the country is in sixth place in terms of consumption, with Iran in the lead. The United States, India, and Russia occupy the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively. Since 2017, German consumption of apples has decreased by 1.2% each year. By 2026, it is expected to grow by a fraction of a percent, to an estimated 1.5 million metric tons.
