Barbadian apple consumption is set to remain stable over the next five years, according to estimates. In 2021, consumption was 3,000 metric tons, the same amount as in 2017. Barbados was ranked 119th in the world for apple consumption, trailing behind Cape Verde, which consumed 3,000 metric tons. The United States, India and Russia were the top three countries in the ranking, consuming 11 million, 10 million and 4 million metric tons, respectively.
