Norwegian consumption of apples is expected to reach 68,000 metric tons by 2026. This is a slight decrease of 0.2% compared to 2021, when the country reached 69,000 metric tons. Since 2017, demand for apples in Norway has declined by 0.5% on average each year. In 2021, the country ranked 55th in the world in terms of apple consumption. Bosnia and Herzegovina overtook Norway at 69,000 metric tons. The United States, India and Russia placed second, third and fourth respectively.
