Ukrainian apple consumption is set to drop 10% over the next five years. In 2021, the country was the world's 23rd largest consumer of apples, with 320,000 metric tons. Spain overtook Ukraine in 2021, with 326,000 metric tons consumed. The United States, India, and Russia came in second, third, and fourth, respectively. Since 2017, Ukrainian demand for apples has decreased by 6.8% per year.
