Pakistan's apple consumption is expected to increase slightly over the next five years, according to a report. Demand for the fruit is estimated to reach 625,000 metric tons by 2026, up from 618,000 in 2021. This would represent an annual growth rate of 0.2%. Since 2017, the demand for apples in Pakistan has grown by 0.9% each year. In 2021, the country ranked 17th in global consumption, behind France, which consumed 618,000 metric tons. The United States, India and Russia ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
