Armenian apple consumption is set to drop by 7.5% year-on-year on average to around 23 thousand metric tons by 2026. This is a decrease from the 36 thousand metric tons consumed in 2021. Since 2017, Armenian demand has fallen by an average of 5% year-on-year. In 2021, the country ranked 73rd in terms of apple consumption, with Uruguay coming in ahead at 36 thousand metric tons. The United States, India and Russia placed second, third and fourth respectively in the same ranking.
