Brazil is on track to produce 289,720 metric tons of avocados by 2026. This represents an average annual growth rate of 2.1% since 2021, when the country produced 255,220 metric tons—the eighth highest amount in the world. Since 1966, the supply of Brazilian avocados has grown 5.4% per year. In 2021, Haiti was the biggest producer of avocados, followed by the Dominican Republic, Peru and Colombia.
