Moroccan avocado production is on the rise. This year, production is expected to reach nearly 68,000 metric tons. That's an increase of 2.7% year on year. Since 1966, Moroccan avocado production has jumped 6.4% each year. In 2021, it ranked 23rd in the world. The Democratic Republic of the Congo was the top producer with 57,710 metric tons. The Dominican Republic, Peru and Colombia came in second, third and fourth, respectively.
