Greece is set to produce over 12,500 metric tons of avocados by 2026, according to recent data. This is an increase of 4.7% year-on-year from the 9,500 tons produced in 2021, when Greece ranked 37th. This is a 40.5% increase since 1986. Ghana overtook Greece in the 2021 rankings, producing 9,500 tons. The Dominican Republic, Peru, and Colombia ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively.
