Consumption of peas in Ethiopia is projected to grow by 0.9% annually in the coming years, rising from 361,000 metric tons in 2021 to 381,000 metric tons by 2026. This places the country in third place behind China and Bangladesh in the world rankings. Ethiopian Pea Production is also expected to increase, reaching a total of 450,800 metric tons in 2026. This is a rise of 1.8% per year since 1998.
